Tank divider as screen top

Hi Reefers,

Anyone here use transparent tank divider as their screen top before?

I was wondering, how much of light will be diffuse by this piece of divider.
If yes just minor, not really that affect the light performance i wouldn't mind to use it as screen top.

It will more than like diffuse a lot of the light. It looks more like a glass cover with holes in it.

hmm, alright. Guess I'm going to give up this.
As BRS is not available for my country, gonna try to DIY using mesh.

Can you buy the same stuff from BRS (window screen) from a hardware store?
