Hi, I am setting up a 135g tank. Just started filling in the RO water. I have an RO system in my kitchen but it makes only a couple of gallons per 4 hrs or so. So it took me three weeks to fill up the whole tank. Now the water in the tank is a bit cloudy. Is it OK or is something growing in the water? The water is stationary. No pump running, no movement. Any ideas whats going on?

Its fine.. just get some circulation going in there to clear it up (powerhead,etc...)
Thats normal..

Is it just an RO system or an RO/DI system? Nothing wrong with RO only systems, but a complete system will help polish the water to make it ultrapure for aquarium use.

What is the temp of the rock water when you add it? A temperature differential can cause cloudiness as well.

Its only RO system. No DI. Is that OK? I plan to grow corals and fish.
I do not understand what rock water is.

:fish1: If you want to grow corals, especially SPS corals you will need an RO/DI system for your tank. Some people claim you don't need the extra DI system on your RO, but I believe in the long run the purer your top off and make up water is, the easier it will be to maintain your system. I would also get a dedicated RO/DI system for you tank. :fish1:

Sorry, 'RO' autocorrected to 'rock'.
