I bought this coral yesterday and wasn't paying very much attention to the shape of the tentacles. It was sold to me as a hammer coral, but I am noticing the tentacles are lacking the classic "hammer" shape. Some of the tentacles are split with multiple heads on the same stalk. I was looking at some pictures and it appears to me that this could be a "Frammer" frogspawn/hammer hybrid. Does anyone else think this or have any experience they would be willing to share?
Thank you!

That’s definitely a hammer. Never heard of a frammer before

I would say branching hammer (E. parancora). They can have some multiples, while frogspawn will be much more divided. Tentacles of wall hammers (E. ancora) have the more hammer/anchor look.

Awesome, thanks for the replies. I had never seen a hammer that lacked the "hammer" shape on the tips.
