cuc 2000ltr fish only

Just after some info on people thoughts of CUC for fish only system 2000ltrs display mainly tangs and angels nothing that will eat shrimps snails etc

I’ve always mixed snails and crabs but I find that crabs eventually eat the snails ! was wondering if to go one or the other ?

What would people recommend, my local fish shop can do a deal on


Cleaner grazer Cypraea moneta 65
Histrio grazer Trochus histrio 65
Green brunneus grazer Turbo brunneus 65
Small meat grazer Nassarius spp 100
Strawberry conch Strombus luhuanus 20
Fenestratus grazer Tectus fenestratus 65

Not sure what QTY of each would I need ?


Any ideas thoughts or views

I would probably get 100 of each grazing snail. only 10 conchs. Less than 100 Nassarius unless you plan on overfeeding constantly or you have a lot of food hit the sand bed and linger

Better to start with less and see how they do and add more later if need be. You shouldn't have a bunch of left over food after feeding and that is the biggest benefit to a CUC IMO. You could have 1000 snails in the tank and you will still have to clean the glass or acrylic, a CUC won't make a tank physical labor free of cleaning:fun4:
