Hi guys looking for some help,my mixed reef is 4 years old so a mature tank of 100 gallon I'm about to add siporax to the sump system in a low flow area it will be housed in eggcrate made box and the siporax will be stacked inside it ,my question is will I need to seed it with bacteria.

I wouldn't think I need to seed it because it's going into a mature system but I thought I ask and make sure. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

No.. There is bacteria in the tank already that will quickly populate the siporax..

No need to seed it. It's far and away the best filter media available
