My tank lost power for 24 hours and the temp dropped steadily from 78 degrees to 71 degrees and then steadily climbed back to 78 degrees.

I discovered this at 7 Am and restored power. It's 5 pm now and everything looks ok. Would you expected things to die from this?

Should I do anything now to help ensure everything stays alive? Is there anything I can do now? Would you expect fish or coral to start dying from this? If a coral is dying should I get it out of the tank right away OR doesn't it matter for coral? (I know dead fish should be removed right away) What should I look for with my RBTA?

My 34 g. red sea mixed reef with two clowns, dwarf angel, shrimp goby, cleaner shrimp and RBTA, softies, PS gorgs, lps and a couple sps.

Thank you! --Doug

Luckily it stayed in the 70’s and not down to the 40-50’s, so you should be just fine

Lost power for 3 days, barely kept tank above 60 and nothing died. You should be fine.
