View Full Version : Why is my goby doing this?

my yellow watchman has a bristle worm in his mouth. Yet he wont let it crawl out. everytime the worm gets close he hiccups and draws it back in. Since he isnt swallowing it, could it be some kind of symbiotic treatment for an ailment in the gobys mouth?

Is it still doing this? I've never heard of this behavior and I'm curious as well.
