Hi all. Yea, I'm obsessing on my two-part dosing system a little. My apologies. I'm using Ca and alk two-part solutions that aren't mixed at saturation. There is room to dissolve more "stuff". Would it be possible to dissolve some magnesium chloride/sulfate to either solution without causing some disaster?

Thanks in advance for keeping me out of trouble.

The magnesium chloride should dissolve in the calcium solution to some extent, probably more than you need. :) The magnesium sulfate will cause calcium sulfate precipitation. Both magnesium compounds will cause precipitation in the alkalinity solution.
