Hi guys,

Looking for input here. Wondering what size tank would be considered ideal?
I have an office I spend 95% of my work week. It’s my business I’m there for the foreseeable long term future

I have a spot along the wall, and next to a sink, I’ll have to remove the sink and can put in a new one which I can plumb the tank into for water changes.

I want the tank to be of decent size to maintain water quality
Be peaceful to look at
Quiet
Of decent size
Low maintenance (not looking for ultra picky corals)
I love the look of fish that require larger tanks like clown tang and sohal tang
I’ll put in dimensions of length I can do but I can probably do a six foot tank
I also have a basement underneath I can use, and preferably that’s where I want my sump (or at least I’m thinking that...correct me if wrong and of no benefit)
Currently I have a 180G Red Sea but the sump/refugi is in the cabinet and I find it adds a bit of noise but also takes space from my cabinet but mainly I’m afraid of a leak or power outage, and would rather a leak happens into the basement rather than my office. That wouldn’t be good

I own the building so I can do whatever

Any advice would be appreciated

I've had a 42g CadLights tank in my office for about 3 years. Love it!
