I posted a while ago about these evil looking fellas. We continue to have TONS of them. Now sometime finding them on the glass or LR as opposed to only sandbed. Still a good sign?

They are beneficial, But I've had huge populations before and am just not a fan of having tons of them. When I have a bunch, I've just vacuumed part of my sandbed and it takes them with it. Then I rinse the sand, removing them, and return the sand to the tank.
Doing that is completely unnecessary, and possibly bad, but if you don't want tons of them it is an option. Just don't over do it.

Like most organisms in our tanks the population should be "self limiting"... if they have an abundance of food source... and no preditation they will multiply till food becomes the limiting factor...
