Hey all,
I recently started cycling a new 57g 36x18x20 Deep Blue aquarium that I will be moving everything from my 20g Nuvo into. I currently own a Hydra 52 HD with the metal mounting arm that goes 12" high, and I am curious if I will need a second Hydra 52 HD to get the 36" spread I need.
All input would be greatly appreciated and at this point not using the Hydra 52 I own is not an option.
Thanks!

I have a 30” wide IM Lagoon 50 with a Hydra 52 @12” and have a ton of overspill.

If I were to to it all over again I think I would have gone with 2/26hd or 3 primes.

I do have 3" of space between the glass and the scape on each side. I wonder if 1 Hydra 52 and proper placement of the SPS in the center area would be good enough.
I suppose I could always get a second one later if needed.

I think it will be “good enough” to try out first.
I’m having problems with bleaching in the center of my tank directly under the light 8” below the surface. It’s a dead zone nothing survives even after acclimation. Not sure if it’s the lights or something else.

Depends on what type of coral ... For SPS you will need a second 52 or you could go Hybrid and add some T5 to the single 52

This was my old 57 gal, I had three hydra 26’s and two T5’s.
Sps grew everywhere. Hydras gave me excellent results.<a href="http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/Carlosjayme1/media/image_zpsr0hubvfj.jpeg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh583/Carlosjayme1/image_zpsr0hubvfj.jpeg" border="0" alt=" photo image_zpsr0hubvfj.jpeg"/></a>
