Sick green slimer...diagnosis

Woke up to my healthy, vibrant green slimer like this this morning. Branches browned and polyps gone or retracted on about 2/3’s of it. Anyone have a diagnosis?

How long was it healthy and in your tank?

About a year and a half. Grew it from a frag. Tank is 2.5 years old.

Is there any tissue on those brown branches? To me it looks like tissue melted away or something ate it.

Yeah, tissue is dead. Whole thing died. Took about 24 hours
