Lost my 6 year old Coral Banded Shrimp today. Pretty good lifespan as CBS go for sure. Anyways that was my only true scavenger and he/she did a great job picking off the detritus and missed food etc. Looking to add another scavenger and open to ideas beyond another CBS.

Mixed Reef with LPS/SPS.

Define "scavenger?" Eating a corpse is one thing, but picking up the scraps is another. Don't feed too much? You are the best "scavenger" that tank will ever see, after that they're all just pets... ;)

Me too... They are fascinating, no doubt, but not really a janitor IME. The differential between the two can be difficult sometimes though. ;)
