Flow placement

Hello rc,

Have a 80 gallon reef. Looking for suggestion where to place my eflux 6006 2100 gph powerheads at. Here's some pics. I want to run sps dominate and I can't seem to get placement correct. I'm running full blast pulsing for shortest freq possible. How many do you have?
There is really no wrong/right way and you can see how the powerheads are effecting flow in your tank far better than we can through the eyes of the internet..

In general.. assuming you have 2.. stick one on the left side and one on the right side.. around middle or a bit higher and let one blow behind the rocks and one blow in front..

And don't over think it..

Flow and placement is simply a matter of trial and error. Use different flow settings on each to get a more random ever changing flow pattern.
