Found a couple of these on the backside on my monti cap. My branching monti is losing its algae. What is this worm and how do I get rid of it?

Looks like an amphipod. Amphipods are a highly beneficial and welcome addition to a reef tank. They provide clean up and are live food for your fish. They are nocturnal which would be why it was hiding under your monti. The only monti parasite I am aware of is a montipora eating nudibranch, which would eat patches of flesh off of the coral. If you are losing its color I would check your lights, flow and water quality first.

I don’t think that’s a pest, seems more like a type of shrimp. Maybe a mysis shrimp. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180404/be1fcd4d205b3266ec82a7e65bcd3fef.jpg

That looks, as best I can see from the blurry picture, to be an amphipod. Not a pest at all. By losing it's algae, do you mean bleaching? I'd look for another cause, that pod is not it.
