Galaxea Spp compatibility?

I purchased an Orange Galaxea Spp today, i already have a green one.. i was thinking of having them close to each other.. would they potentially fuse together without issue? they both seem to be the same species i've just never tried it or thought about it for that matter..

anybody with experience on this? would it work or would they just sting each other?

I do not have a direct answer for you, but in my experience Galaxea is of the most potent stinking corals I have ever seen. Its sweepers can reach a few inches at night. I would personally think the 2 would battle.
