View Full Version : ATI Labs Water Analysis....anyone use this?

I see out on amazon that there is this lab analysis test kit....anyone use this?
I also see that brs props Triton Labs, but I suspect those guys are just trying to sell you supplements.
I think there is another one -- marinelabs, but you have to send it over to Germany.

I test the main parameters, but I have no idea where the other ones are -- iodine, strontium, etc. I am also not a big fan of the HI Calcium checker, it is super tiny water sample in that pipette.

For $40, does not seem too bad to get a good baseline on the water.

Yes plenty of people use Triton/ATI,etc... BRS just resells the Triton tests..

In general the validity (accuracy) of many of the trace elements has been said to not be that accurate by some.. But it seems that some of it is useful on occasion to get a "big picture" kind of thing..

I've been thinking about doing it once or twice a year as I don't do water changes (so far anyways) and was curious what that was really doing.. Everything seems just fine in my tank but I suspect it could be better with the addition of "something" potentially
