Hi all. I'm looking for an addition to my reef aquarium. It's small at 24g so I know choices are limited. I was wondering about a small Hawk fish but would like advice. Are they suitable, is there something else you would recommend, sort of a stand out fish. The present details of tank are below.
Recommendations are welcome. Thank you.

IME hawks get more agressive the smaller the tank is, I had a spotted hawk that completely terrorized a 32 cube, had to get rid of him after he almost killed a pair of clowns

A clown goby could work, same perching behavior I think. Less of an impact on the bio load as well.

I’d do a Blackcap Basselet

Perchlets have very similar behavior and looks to hawkfish but are very peaceful.
Sometimes they are sold as a geometric hawkfish.
