70 Gallon Soft Reef Tank with...

Yellow Eye Kole Tang
Lemonpeel Angel
Starry Blenny
Frostbite Clown
Black Cap Basslet

Do I dare add a 6 Line Wrasse? He’s 1/2 the size of my smallest fish which is my Black Cap. I’ve had them before and love them. My wife is saying no because she remembers that they get aggressive (which I don’t remember for some reason)

They are aggressive little buggers. Most people end up regretting them. I don't see any compatibility issues though. Kind of a toss-up, imo.

Can you go with a different wrasse instead? 6 lines can become a pita

That’s my fear but one of my local fish stores has one and he’s fat with a good personality when you go up to the tank

6-lines are great fish - always moving around the rockwork hunting. They really are a under rated fish in that regard. However, having owned one in a 100 gallon they pack a mean little punch on the aggression factor in a micro sized package. So, having said that, and actually owning one (which I later removed a year later) I think they can work provided you have enough rock and a mature tank. I think they are active and hunt and need range. If you can meet those three criteria then I would try it.

Otherwise no.

I cannot stand 6-line wrasses. They are complete jerks.

Yeah. I decided against it. Thanks all!
