Replaced my RapidLED fixtures with some Hydra 26 fixtures. Lots more control, but Iím concerned about burning stuff up. The old ones each had a single UV, but the spread was not great, so I want to start low, and work back up.
The tank is a 150, 6 feet long, with 3 26s. First, how high up? Then, recommended spectrum? Mixed tank, LPS low, SPS high. Basic stuff.

I would initially start running the two outside lights at somewhere around CW-50, G-40, V-40, R-42, DB-80, RB-75, UV-60 and the inside light at CW-30, G-25, V-25, R-25, DB-55, RB-53, UV-40. Use a 4-1/2 hour ramp up, 3 hours at peak intensity and then a 4-1/2 hour ramp down. You will likely need to increase the intensity as time goes on, but those numbers are a good starting place.

Pretty sure there's an extensive thread on this in the lighting forum...
