Just got my results back from triton. Overall, what does everyone hunk?

The calcium level reported is very low. Have you measured that parameter yourself? All the other numbers are within reason. I wouldn't worry about any of them yet.

Yeah I am waiting for my new calcium test kit because I was reading 420 or so. I will need to adjust that if it's that low. Not sure how it dipped so low with my calcium reactor staying online.

Copper looks a bit concerning. There might be some electronics that leak in water.

Yeah I too was curious about that number. I'm going to check my vortechs when I get home.
I did have 1 vortech that busted and was exposed to saltwater a few months back. Maybe 4 months ago. Since has been replaced and water changes done.

It's reasonably likely that the copper number is a false alert. The trace elements are hard to measure, and Triton's results haven't correlated with more careful testing all that well.

Jonathan, looking at my results, can you briefly explain to me how zinc gets into our systems typicall?

If there is zinc in the system, and I'm skeptical about that, untreated tap water or an exposed galvanized metal surface would be two possibilities.

It can also come from exposed metal parts of the RODI unit as well.

That's true, although galvanized RO/DI parts should be rare. Copper would be more common.
