Booster Pump or House Pressure Change

I have a 75 gpd Filmtec RO membrane. My tapwater TDS is a whopping 340 and the post membrane reading is 37.
The pressure on the gauge is reading 37 PSI. I know 40 is minimum and 50-60 is better. Just checked the water pressure at several spigots in the house and the readings are 38-40 PSI...which would explain the RO/DI pressure.
Is it better to get a booster pump for the RO/DI system or to increase the home water pressure to 50 PSI?

If it were me, I would just increase the whole home pressure.

Choice is yours....IMO increasing your whole house is the better idea assuming you can... Easy to test...just turn the bolt on the pressure regulator or pump switch if well and see what you can get...

Could be better by 4% ish assuming the meters are 100% accurate.
I run about the same % and end up with 1-3ppm (assuming my meter is accurate) and I have never had any negative outcome. I note the manufacture of my RO says 96% rejection. (But with a * saying actual results may vary) is very very small print.

If your not burning through DI usually fast, I would say no worries, make that water....

What brand/model membrane?
Age of prefilters?
Checking pressure after prefilters or before?
Water temperature?
Got more pressure capability? (can you go 60?)

I run that exact same membrane ...240 in 4-5 out.....at 60 psi....I don't think 50 psi would be any different....

Definitely house pressure, just make sure you don't get water hammers. If you're getting a huge drop something isn't right. I'd answer mcgyvr's questions and we can help further.

Update: Problem solved. I'm not getting TDS of 3 post RO and prior to DI. I'm very happy with that.
