custom tank

Hi I was planning on having a custom tank underneath my finished basement staircase so you can see the tank from both sides. I cant fit a 6ft tank so I was thinking about having a 4ft by 3ft tank, can I still have tangs in this size tank? Another alternative is a 6ft in wall tank in my office. Thanks

Are those dimensions length x width? Length x height? How big would the 3rd dimension be?

length and width for height I havent decided between 18,22 or 24 inches what is everyone thoughts on the height.
