I was just cleaning up this used tank and saw this. It's in between the wear the glass comes together. Scares me a bit.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190103/537378d6f30aa5c7bb9c49d8dd553de1.jpg

I know its small, but considering 65 gallons being in my living room, I just dont know. Thoughts?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190104/593595876d0817d1bc21cec89ecbaa01.jpg

Looks to be just the inner seal where they smooth out the silicone. If thats the case, it's absolutely fine. Its the silicone between the glass panels that are structural.

That's what has me worried. There is a little sliver/air pocket in between the panes.

that wouldn't worry me at all, 99%+ of the silicon is in place and that air bubble is sealed on both sides.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll go ahead and strip the rest of this silicone for the re-seal.
