I have a 10g breeder that has been sitting unused and currently going to use it for a nano reef tank. I will be using a Fluval aquaclear 50 with the inTank media basket.
I have been out of the reef keeping hobby for a few years so I need suggestions on different filter media to keep on hand to run in the filter and when to run it.
Is there certain media to run all the time or only when a specific chem level spikes? Should I just use the media basket as a small fuge?
