Good pump???

Looking into getting an SYNCRA SILENT PUMP*or a DC pump. Opinions on which is quieter and reliable?

Is this for the 220 in your signature? If so, look into the Fluval SP6 AC return pump. The Fluval SP series of pumps are extremely quiet, energy efficient, more reliable than DC pumps IMO and they also use the bombproof Italian Askoll motor block.

This is for my 250 build that I'm working currently. I will do some research on this pump. I like to use twin returns and im using 1" plumbing so i will be getting 2 pumps around 1000 gph

Then perhaps a pair of Fluval SP4s will suit your needs better.
