I have had a healthy large toadstool now for many years. This same toadstool I thought was going through its normal shedding, but it seemed to be taking longer than it normally does. I noticed a round brown spot developed almost overnight right near the center. As I normally do daily, I was blowing off the rocks with the baster and decided to blow what seemed to be a brown film on the toadstool. The tissue in the area was so soft that it blew a hole directly through the outer skin making a hole!! What is going on?! Never seen this before and need to know what I need to do. All other corals, including my sps are all fine, but it. See pic. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/dx4zw9kGr6wnw5INtR5Fg6LG9gjlix8ARkDpg4hhPLu4sC86qSqmEe6Ftja6hCex97M86bNuEpwncX2CReqsJeJZ_4tHwFfOByz-JBvJSWPloP8Q6Mh6l4yEjrVdwVvxi39gHY1W6MNh4uTygK4NMkAH6rVQ4--EJh7ayxZayBfQD0213J29TlDgT3qZypNfcg1tPaH1gUoSWDNXGn5wFnZNmFa7f9lAYqQkM1SB_BZJBc8Jm7GkYtqoO4JPm01GQNb ElP_2zak7iLy_nbNvtmSwZLzGlUmkZnxPURkOz9zYFT9yFKSaTgQZWdg1fQ9tHb5XnA4Bgt2KBPPNyUF4saDY51gUXIVElAidW6q QbsrEsQxqbUPYqr1uMWX8HwjPL9duBgz_g7smaNOzl9D2V6oVmWq1n1jGhrzFI2IkvVMzdcLAfIPwtZpx37COlHhSwHf0LG3JJ_s 1fIQyZDlLw_g8zYS-zFtiOC4sqlBwORx9xKfEbguSGAkaKVWZizN2JhC8oriOMHnHV-9bIAh6ib1g0q__UryW0H5xdg3lhnsAwG2FaCAYIU53ARxesF_9enOagmMdURtDRNLb2pfGAujquwU8R9aN9e5O0qDkQcox3uECME t7FYCZ7_X2bBPgmlUvV89mfHOBs44qrzgCicQM-Wm2lenX=w628-h837-no

I can't see the pic but you seem to describe how the leather divides.

I can't see the pic. My only advice is, make sure you're running carbon. Leathers can produce all kinds of nasty toxins, especially if they are upset. Keep your fish and other corals safe.
