MP10 changes modes by itself

I’ve recently acquired a used MP10QD. I’ve set it to reef crest mode and want it to remain there. When I come back aprox 1-2 hours later I find the unit has moved modes by itself to the constant flow mode. Am I missing something or is this a normal function?

Vortech drivers have something called a "night mode", which spins the pump at 50% power (constant). You might actually have a problem with the driver, but I'd first check to see if it's just not reverting to a night mode. Here's the manual.
