I bought a Odyssea 6 foot t5 fixture a couple of years ago. I put 4 ATI bulbs into that fixture and it burnt out so far 3 out of 4 lights. I actually just added the lights into that fixture around 4 months ago. I was using the Chinese lights it came with for a while because it was over a fresh water tank at the time. I was wondering if the ATI light bulbs are just too strong for the fixture. BTW. the lights that burnt out must of burnt out the end caps to because no bulbs will light up in those spots anymore. The bulbs have nothing to do with the output power of the ballast.
Have you tried the bulbs in a different position or another fixture ?
It may be a bad ballast or the tombstones (end caps) could be bad.

It might be the end caps burnt out as I tried a new ballast and it still wouldn't light up. Can an end cap burn out bulbs like that?
