Can metroplex be a trusted source to treat ick?
Im treating anthias for uronema marinum with metroplex. Im not seeing any ick on them. but it says that it treats for ick also.
Should i rick and not do TTM on them?

BTW i also have a copperband butterflyfish with them in same quarantine.

I only know three things which work in Ick most of the time.
That be TTM, Hypo, and Copper based, and DT fallow 72 days

Anything else is puffing....

Metronidazole will most likely kill ich (and velvet) free swimmers. However, the problem is it doesn't stay active in the water long and will drop below therapeutic before you can safely redose (every 48 hours). So there will be lapses in treatment coverage which will undoubtedly allow free swimmers to find & attach to fish.
