Reef Octopus Various float switch help

Hey Everyone,
Just getting back into the hobby. Finally got my 29g biocube up and running. I am using a Reef Octopus Various pump that came with a float switch that will automatically shut the pump off if the water level gets to low. I wanted to set this up, but can't figure out how the clamp works or how I would affix this to my sump. The pump did not come with a manual and I can't find anything online. Call me a total Noob or an idiot, but I can't seem to figure it out myself.
If any of you have any instructions or pics/vids of how to set this up that would be awesome!

Pretty simple. The float switch attaches to the bracket like in the first picture. If your sump has a rim, the bracket will clamp the edge using the tumb screw. If it’s rimless, it will hang of the edge of the sump. You can lengthen or shorten the bracket by removing the screws and and using the alternate holes along the vertical portion of the bracket. You will want to position the height of the float so that the barrel of the float is in the up position when submerged at normal sump operating levels.

This shows the clamp portion that would attach to the rim of the sump by loosening up the thumb screw at the top. It also shows the hook part that would hang on the egde of a rimless sump.

The complete assembled float switch bracket. On the right side of the vertical portion, you can see the nylon that screws that you would remove and reinstall into the alternate holes to shorten or lengthen the bracket to accommodate your sumps depth.
