Last night one of our clownfish jumped out of the tank. He found the only small hole in the grid on the tank to jump through. Found him on the floor this morning. My question is, we had two and I do not think they were mature enough to be a mated pair, but can I introduce another one into the system? They did follow each other around a lot. Thanks for your help.

Yep...just make sure the new one is smaller than the existing one.

Or larger? the current one is somewhat small. Was the smaller of the two.

Play it safe and put a smaller one in if you want to create another pair. If you accidentally put two females together they will fight until one of them is dead.

I appreciate the help. My wife and I are still saddened about our loss. I will have to add some sort of cover where my supplies come in my tank. Very small opening, but still managed to get out.
