I'm setting up a new 120 gallon tank (48 x 24 x 24). I used to have a trigger ruby 36 on my last 100 gallon tank, but wasn't completely happy with it. The skimmer area was pretty small and blocked getting the filter socks out.

The store where I'm getting my tank is suggesting the eShopps R-200, which has a cool design, but I don't like how you can't see the pump area and I've read that the pump area is pretty small and the acrylic that is used to make the sump is pretty thin and will bow over time.

Any suggestions on a sump for my new tank?

Did you look here to see if any are in a configuration you might like better?

I've looked at bulk reef supply several times. :sad2:

All of the trigger designs have the same issue.

I've looked at several websites including Marine Depot, Aqua Caves, etc. Maybe I'm just being to picky, but I want this tank set up the right way from the start so there aren't any issues down the road. Replacing a sump in a running tank is nearly impossible.

Could always go custom if your budget allows....
