Hi,

I am pretty new to the forum and reef keeping in general. I had a 90gallong mostly fish tank previously. I am in the process of setting up a new 150G. I wanted to get some feedback on my aquascaping plan (photos attached):

The tank is 60"x24"x24". This is already ~130lbs of rock. Not sure how I would get much more than this.

Any feedback, pos or neg appreciated :)

Looks good to me. I basically have the same. I used dry rock and have a lot of passages, caves etc. for the fish. I think they like it as they dart in and out of them all the time.

I'd open up another spot on the left side like you did on the right....

+1 for me also. Room underneath also allows for water flow to help move detritus.

Thanks for the advice! Decided on the minimal side. Might add some small structure, but otherwise I'm pretty happy.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190903/b08b0bef605b88aea6642316e04e7935.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190903/2d18a6a27ea4c05f622382118241d4b7.jpg

I think that is nicely done.

Looks good! Second picture with the lights really sets it off.
I'm concerned about your substrate choice though. What are your stocking plans? Are you planning on siphoning it weekly? Substrate that large will be a serious detritus trap.

Agreed, with that substrate your aquascape ain't gonna matter much as that rock is going to be covered in algae. You should really consider removing it and putting in sand now while it will be easy.
