There's no reason to not use waterweld: https://www.lowes.com/pd/J-B-WELD-WaterWeld-White-Epoxy-Adhesive/3389026
while in the tank water, right? I ask b/c I'd obviously not rinse it before putting it in the tank.

I'm pretty sure the whole point of it is to be able to cement things while underwater. I been using it to cement above water, then to put in water after it's set.

TY!

Won't hurt a thing. If you used a lot it might make your skimmer act up.

Many people have been using it for years, no issues at all. You'll have more of a issue getting a fresh batch from Lowes. Personal lessons learned, squeeze the waterweld for softness before taking it home, to find out it's rock hard and out of date.

I've used it a lot over the years, never had a problem.

I use this epoxy (https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/two-little-fishies-aquastik-underwater-epoxy-putty.html) as it blends better than white. It can certainly be purchased form many different sources not just BRS.

TY.. that one is just more$. the epoxy will quickly get covered in coralline anyhow no matter what the color starts as though
