Looking to pickup 1-2 BTA and in the next 1-3 months some good beginner frags. Also, need to start to put together a cleanup crew.
New to saltwater so not sure who has and sells what or good places to purchase. I'm located in Ballwin, MO so anywhere 5-20 minutes is ideal.
Coming over from freshwater and planted. Rock has been cycled about 4-5 months and the tank has been running a few months now. Added a couple small clown fish a few weeks ago that are doing good. Got some coraline algae and green algae starting to form on rocks. I'm running (4) AI Primes over a 75 gallon tank with a Crystal 30 sump.

Are you going to the PN next week?

I’ll have some beginner frags if coming to the PN.

I wish I could go. With covid I've been avoiding any sort of gatherings. I'd feel terrible if I picked it up somewhere that I didn't 100% have to be and put my parents who are in the high risk category in harms way. For now for fish stuff I've just been doing shipping and socially distanced pickups and hand offs. Starting to really miss the social gathering parts of it that I'm used to (MASI) and visiting pet stores randomly to browse.

I’d suggest holding off on BTAs for a few months to let your system mature.

I agree 100%. With a new tank you are just about guaranteeing you will lose them.

Going to hold off a BTA for a while. Just got to try to find some good starter corals for now. Anyone have some cheap and easy corals to get me going for sale? Thinking some GSP, Xenia (some pulsing type), Kenya Tree Coral, various zoas etc...
