Intitial lighting?

I will have 192W PC over 40 gallons. Should I have them on a reduced schedule during cycling?

Richard suggested to me that I keep the hours of lighting to 5 during cycling to keep the algae bloom low...once the "cleaner crew" is established the concern over the lighting is gone .
