I have a liter meter III and a kalk reactor to use for topoff water.
I also plan to use a level switch with the liter meter. I plan to program the liter meter to replace a little more then the evaporation rate , but have it plugged into the level switch so it doesnt actually replace more water then evaporates. Does this make sence. Or should I leave it set to on instead of run, having it cycle on and off by the level control only, setting it to run with flow set a little over evap rate seems safer to me, in that if the level switch malfunctions the liter meter will still only replace a small amount in a day , rather then possibly running continually and over dosing the kalk if a problem arrises.

I am also looking at getting the lm3 to dispense kw at the evap rate. How do you maintain the water level in the kalk reactor? I'd like to control the rodi output directly into kw reactor at the rate the lm3 is putting kw into thetank.

waves,

The LM III is not designed to control an RO/DI system directly.
You would not want to be turning the RO/DI system on and off every 9 minutes. Some kind of liquid level control (LLC-S) should be used to fill a reservoir with pure water. Then, use the LM III to pump out of the reservoir and through the kw reactor. Some kw reactors seem to work better than others; some rely on an overflow situation, some work under pressure, and some don't seem to work at all (those that can't stand the kind of pressure the LM III can generate. Maximum water levels can be controled with the Topoff Control Module if you are only using the one pump.
