Dr. Mac & Sons,
I received 4 Nano Acropora colonies yesterday Dec.12. They were well professional wrapped. None of the animals show any sign of stressed; they look very healthy and colorful. Good job!
I have one question, I know these are not frags they're small colonies. Do these all come with a small piece of rock attached? because I got one barely attached on anything(yellow body with light blue tip). I ended up superglue it to a rock and guess what I put too much glue on it. My question is: is this specimen came with no rock attach or the small rock fell off its base during packaging?
Thanks,
LOC HUYNH

I purchased a nano SPS colony that came attached to a tiny (<1") piece of rock. I think most of the nano colonies have minimal rock attachments or none at all. I used Aquastick epoxy to place the colony.

Almost every one of the Nano colonies is attached to a small piece of rock, there may be a few that do not have rock bases. Usually a simple matter of glueing with superglue or epoxy, you must be careful so as to not get glue on the other parts of the coral. The Nano colonies are distinct colonies and not frags so almost every one has some amount of rock base, albeit very small on some.
