I have a CSP-DI 160 and I'm going to replace all the cartridges and the membranes. Since the water in Southern California is particularly hard I ordered a replacement flow restrictor as well.

Do I just cut off an inch or so of the effluent hose to remove the old flow restrictor and then just shove the new one into the hose ?

Also, your site says the 160 uses 90 GPD replacement membranes, Marine Depot sent me 80 GPD. Is the difference significant ?

Reefvet,

Do not cut the hose, the flow restrictor will pull out!

Did the new membrane have a SpectraPure label on it?

If Marine Depot sent you an "80 GPD" membrane, it
was NOT a SpectraPure-supplied membrane.

We test and qualify the following sized membranes:
25, 40, 60 and 90 GPD.
