I have the LiterMeter #1, and I bought it used off of ebay. It arrived in good shape and I plugged it in to see if it would fire up. It turned on and pumped some water through the tubing. This satisfied my inital curiousity, though it would be another month or so before I really tried it out on my tank.
I decided to clean the pump head before I used it again. I followed all of the instructions and THOUGHT I did a good job.......
Now, when I try to fire it up, it won't come on. I don't know if it was related to me dismantling it, or something else. I have only tried to use the pump two times, the first time it worked, the second, it didn't.
What happens is I turn it on to calibrate it but the motor won't turn or whatever. I assume that if the pump light is on, the little shaft coming out of the top should be turning too.....
The green light comes on indicating that the pump should be working, yet nothing happens.
Do you have any insight into this?
