Your MYTHS article in the Reefkeeping magazine was fantastic, especially for a SW newbie who had no idea about just how pervasive the lies and half-truths were. I have a 325 g SW tank with about 200 lbs of LR and a "refugium" that has calurpa and another type of algae that the name escapes me right now (looks like that plant you see in freshwater aquarioums a lot, single stalk and bushy, like a bottle brush). No fish, no verts and no corals in the fuge, none planned either, thanks to your myth debunking. I have THREE bottles sitting by my tank, unusuaed as of yet, a bottle of KoralVit, oneof Strontium and Molybdenum and a third of "TRACE" minerals. I'm supposed to add some of each next week, now I'm not so sure. The tank has been cycling since October, completed cycle earlier this month (according to my "testing") and we added the fish, verts and corals (contents of an established tank) Dec. 17. So far, no fatalities beyond a missing "NEMO" (really, can't FIND Nemo, he "vanished" into the rock and that was that). Have several leathers, a carpet anem., tangs, damsels, wrasse, goby, hawk, sally lightfoot, hermits, turbos, cuke, clowns (2, VERY agressive to my hand, ouch!) and some aptasia (dammit). Trying to read as much as possible but, as you note in your myths and other articles, how can you keep tabs on water when one has no clue as the the actual content of the water beyond a few minor tests???
