I have a 3616 ecosystem filter running for approx 4 months with grape caulerpa, but I have some other type of algae growing also and it seems to inpead the grow of the grape.
It looks like a red fuzz ball that just grows and spreads binding itself to the caulerpa. this is my second eco filter and never hafd this problem before and I don't know what to do about it. It has been a real chore trying to keep it in check.
My Nitrates are a little high somewhere between 25-50, but phosphates read 0 and everything else is in good shape.
and help would be greatly appreciated.
