Recalibration of LM3

I purchased a used Litermeter 3 and was wondering how often the pump should be calibrated?

We run the pumps dry here for an hour of testing and ask you to run them for another hour before calibrating. This breaks-in the peristaltic hose.

After that, they are pretty consistent for a long time. Out of curiosity, I check mine every three months or so.

Long term accuracy is more dependent upon the measuring vessel than just about anything else. Best thing to use is an Erlimeyer flask with 500ml marking on the neck. Worst thing to use is a "martini glass"-shaped measuring cup.

How about a rocks glass with a pre-measured 1.5 oz of whiskey and exactly 6 pre-measured ice cubes?
