I have an old style Litermeter and tried hooking it up to a Lifereef float swithch that I have. It keeps the level in my sump/tank flawless but the switch is so sensitive that it cycles the Litermeter off with just about each pump. In other words the Litermeter pumps its entire amount and right after that the float switch shuts it down until the level drops slightly (about 5-10 minutes) and then the Litermeter is turned back on and doses immediately and is turned back off. Is this too much on/off for the Litermeter or can I leave this float switch hooked up to it. I have the pressure float switch that came with the Litermeter but it requires and inch or more of fluctuation in my sump to work.

It won't hurt anything.

Thanks Scott that's what I was hoping. BTW, my Litermeter is over 3 years old and has never missed a beat. Great piece of hardware!
