Dr Mac..

I will be needing somewhere between 90 to 135 plbs of live rock with in the next month or two. I am located in central pa, the State College area to be exact. Couple questions.

First: your recommendation give that i want a diverse set up eventually.. sps.. clams.. some soft... zoos etc..

second: i am going to go with about three inches of sand.. prefer live sand .. how much for a ninety.. bottom size is 48 x 18 x 3-4 inches

Third: i am willing to pay premium price for premium rock.. some with thing with life.. not just lava rock.. can you do that.

Any help is great i am a newbie.

I'll answer briefly here, if you have any other questions don't hesitate to call me, 443-614-1955.
1. I would recommend the Tonga Kaelini rock, being a new tank I would recommend partially cure, that is rock I have here that I can hand pick for you. Larger pieces are better due to shape.
2. Not sure on the number of pounds, might check here on RC, I think there is a calculation you can use, I would suggest getting dry fine grain aragonite sand and then seed it with maybe 10 pounds of live sand, getting sand from multiple sources is best, that way you get the most diversity.
3. All the rock I sell is Premium grade, I will gladly hand pick the pieces for you, the Kaelini rock is very nice.
Thanks, Mac
