Size of LR

As I was getting my 50g tank set up last night, I was noticing how small the openings were on the top of my Acrylic tank. I will measure them tonight when I get home but I really don't want to cut the tank. If I order the rock with maximum size requirements is that going to effect the quality or price?

I have a 55g acrylic with smallish openings in the top. When I ordered my rock I told Mary the dimensions of the holes and they made sure that all the pieces would fit. If there are better quality pieces than what I got, I'd be pretty amazed.
