Just hooked up LMIII and it is pretty neat. What is the output jack for pump A used for, since the A pump is the integral unit pump?

It cuts off the internal pump in case you want to control three external devices.

Uses for those output jacks are varied. They provide 12VDC/500 mAmps for whatever you might want to control, like water (or air, or CO2) solenoids. A 12 volt Relay could control a 120VAC powerhead for stiring kalk before dispensing, or a "big" pump for doing MAJOR water changes. "Crydom" is a brand name (one of many) of a "Solid-State Relay" for AC that is easy to connect and relatively safe to use.
