"Run" not running

I bought a new Litermeter III, was drop shipped to me last week from Spectrapure. The pump runs on "on", but never comes on in "run". Maybe I'm missing something, I tried cranking up the settings. Got the same results. I dont have to change or do anything after moving from "off", "on" to "run" do I?

That's a new one on me. Sounds like the program "lost" part of the code. Our QC man assures me he tests all functions before they leave here, so I'll have to ask you to return it to us for a quick re-programming. I'm very sorry for your inconvience and we'll throw in a tubing replacement kit for your trouble when we send it back to you by 2nd day UPS.

Just in case, before you send it back, try this: set RATE=300 and FLOW=03.00 ; leave it in RUN mode. Unplug it, wait 10 seconds, then re-connect the power supply. It SHOULD run for 4 seconds when first powered up.

Received your LiterMeter III. Re-programmed it and all seems well. Sending it back to you today. Sorry for the trouble. I threw in a spare pump head, although you may never need it. Expect arrival on Wednesday.
