Osmolator and ro with shutoff valve

Hello again,

I have an osmolator and I conect it to my RO unit with shutoff valve. My problem is the shutoff valve don´t stop and the osmolator continue adding water until 10 minutes alarm.

Which is the problem?

It is not supposed to connect to a solenoid. It is likely that it would take more than 10 minutes for an RO unit to make the amount of water needed to top off an aquarium. Solenoids fail far to easily for my comfort and I cannot recommend doing this. Fill the reservoir and use it with the pump as it was meant to. I also have never seen a 12V RO solenoid, most are 24V.
